We've been chartering the BVIs for 40 years. This site is what we wish had existed when we started.
Our Story
We're a husband-and-wife team who fell hard for the British Virgin Islands on our first charter and never really stopped going back. Over four decades and more than a dozen trips, we've anchored in nearly every bay, run aground in a few we'd rather forget, and learned something new on every passage.
The BVIs are endlessly forgiving for new charterers and endlessly rewarding for experienced ones. We built this site to share what we've learned — the anchorages worth the detour, the itineraries that actually work, and the practical tips that make the difference between a good trip and a great one.
Why This Site Exists
No ads. No affiliate links. No charter company has paid us anything. Every recommendation on this site comes from our own experience — including the honest ones about what didn't work.
We got tired of guides that read like brochures. The BVIs deserve better, and so do the sailors heading there.
